FIRE! FIRE! Steve got his nick name "Stevis" because we always made fun of Bevis and Butthead. He loved fireworks etc. I came across this in an email attachment of when he accidentaly almost set himself on fire burning brush on his property. OOPS! He had such a great sense of humor he could always laugh at himself...

  Well, when you mix stupidity with very dry brush and gasoline, you can get
burned. A few weeks ago, I went to have a somewhat small brush fire behind
out house - we had just had our last rain so it was safe and I had some bad
gasoline that I needed to get rid of so I poured it on the brush and waited
a little while and lit it. The whole thing blew up due to the gas fumes and
I was right next to it holding the lighter. I lost a lot of hair from my
head, arms and legs and burned my face arms and legs - the worst being my
left arm and hand where some skin was hanging off. I was fine treating it
for a few days, but it got infected so $600 later, I was on the road to
full
recovery.
