WOW! If I had known I would be a "published" artist I would have worked a little harder to make this look like the REAL Steve. Thanks for the recognition! Mama June
BTW You sure have said volumes with all the pix of you and Steve. It's almost like you were like, I dunno, best friends! MJ
I did not know you were the artist; Great work! This pic was scanned from a little fridge magnet business card Steve sent me, so I am sure it does not look as good as the original. I feel that it captures the warmth of his personality. June, I have felt so helpess to do anything. I have spent hours digging for old pics in boxes all over the house and in the attick (hot!!!) I've had to rebuild my PC with the scanner to get this done, with all the scans, edits, re-samples. This I do in honor of my best friend to hopefully make him feel a little better. It is the least I can do. It's funny that most of the times when we were goofing around, we never thought to get a picture. If cell phones with cameras were only around back then... I have been honored to have Steve as my best friend. He has made my life much richer with all the adventures we have shared together. Steve will always be in my heart... Toby
Jon. On Mother's Day this year Steve n Sheri came over just to visit. Steve had no symptoms at the time except for a dry cough. He felt great. It will be the last time we will all be together in health.
But the amazing thing that happened will live with me forever. Sheri, the incredible, gave me a picture album of Steve's life. From birth to his last mission trip to Egypt in Feb. It captures Steve in a way that no other means could.
I consider the pix you have put on this blog an addendum to that album. I wish you could see the album. All the work you have done takes us on a wonderful trip that only you could share.
From the bottom of my heart, I thank you for being there for all of us. All my love, Mama June Home 214-295-8787 Cell 214-563-0592
